The thought of facing a pregnancy alone is stressful. You need the support of others, and you can feel overwhelmed and isolated without it.

Sometimes, when a partner doesn’t support a pregnancy, they insist on an abortion. They may not want to be responsible for parenting or may be concerned about finances, but you have other options.

Regardless of who is or isn’t supporting you, we’re here for you. We never want you to feel unsupported and alone, no matter what decision you make. Contact the Pregnancy Resource Center for the information and help you need. We’re here for you.

Have You Confirmed Your Pregnancy?

Sometimes, a late period and a positive pregnancy test aren’t enough to determine if you’re actually pregnant. We offer free and confidential pregnancy services to confirm your pregnancy.

Did you know that experts estimate that as many as 26% of all pregnancies end in a miscarriage? It is possible to get a positive pregnancy test result even after a miscarriage because it takes a woman’s body time to return to pre-pregnancy hormone levels.

There are several things you need to learn about your pregnancy before deciding what to do. At the Pregnancy Resource Center, we’ll retest with a lab-quality pregnancy test. If it shows a positive result, you will receive a free ultrasound and STI testing

Both are vital for protecting your health and safety. An ultrasound determines if your pregnancy is developing or if you have miscarried, if the location of the pregnancy is correct, and how far along you are.

Is Your Relationship With Your Partner Healthy?

If your partner doesn’t support your pregnancy, it’s essential to consider whether your relationship with them is healthy or not. In a healthy relationship, each person should respect the other’s feelings and opinions. It’s critical to support one another.

The Pregnancy Resource Center provides free and confidential counseling. Our lay counselors can provide a listening ear and answer your questions.

If you feel like your partner isn’t respecting your decision, or he’s pressuring you to choose a pregnancy option you disagree with, this is a sign of abuse. Although it may be challenging, you should consider moving forward without your partner.
